Vicky has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Kutztown University, and a Master of Arts degree in History with a Certification in Public History, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and more than 33 years experience working in the museum field (currently 28 years at the BHC). The fun parts of being the Education Curator are the Junior Historian Camp held each June, guiding school groups on tour, organizing bus trips to historic sites, teaching basket weaving workshops and helping to facilitate the Second Saturday Program lecture series. Vicky has lived in Berks County her whole life, in fact, she grew up in New Jerusalem, a short one-mile distance from Dryville, where one of her ancestors, Sybilla Steinbrenner, was born in 1725.
