Staff: Amber VromanMuseum Curator
With undergraduate and graduate degrees in Fine Art and Public History, Amber’s career as BHC’s Museum Curator is the perfect blend of creative expression, museum education, and collections management. Amber was introduced to the organization as an intern in 2017. During that time, she assisted former Curator (now Assistant Director and Archivist), Bradley Smith, with the BHC’s ongoing Collection’s Management Initiative. As BHC’s Curator, Amber is responsible for the care and exhibition of Berks County’s material culture through the museum’s vast collection of objects, artifacts, and works of art. A lifelong Berks County resident, Amber is most passionate about the folk art and craft traditions of her cultural ancestors, the Pennsylvania Germans.
